Venipuncture

Blood is drawn from a vein (venipuncture), usually from the inside of the elbow or the back of the hand. A needle is inserted into the vein, and the blood is collected in an air-tight vial or a syringe. Preparation may vary depending on the specific test.

Stat Family Care Moss Bluff is a family practice, practiced by family. We provide minor emergency medicine, sports medicine, labs and x-rays, minor orthopedics, and a weight loss program. If you already have a family doctor we'll send your doctor a copy of your visit. Our walk in clinic does take appointments. We are open 9:00am-Noon and 2:00pm to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. We accept cash, credit, or debit. Visa, Mastercard, or Discover. No checks. Call 337-855-ASAP (2727) * Currently, we do not accept Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance, or Worker's Compensation. * All payments are expected when services are rendered during your visit. Failure to remit your balance will result in withholding of benefits of service and any further services until balance is remitted in full. No Checks accepted. * Please allow 24 hours for all prescription requests and call backs. * Paperwork may take more than 24 hours.
